Nah this could run still.
Â
Some Conservatives see the money.
Â
What someone needs to do is set up a research company - i.e. buy and prepare a few acres of land that can eventually be used for cultivation. There is one big one in the UK, top secret obviously, medical grade research facility/grow-op.
Â
Maybe grow organic veg until suchtime as the legislation is eased up.
Â
That's all that's missing here - the Big Weed infrastructure. The American model is fairly random - it's come together in bits and is probably quite easy to replicate to perfection.
Â
I was out in Westmoreland in JA a few weeks back and chatting to one taxi driver - Dexter - who heads the Westmoreland Cannabis Farmers Association - they planted the first legal tree on Government property recently, and he was talking about Canadian companies coming over and giving grants to farmers to grow medical quality weed.
Â
I wanna cop a piece of land there and grow nuff, nuff weed.

The biggest problem is the daily mail and their ilk.
Whilst most politicians aren't that stupid and/or emotional attached to the discussion. They are cowards. They do fair a backlash. That's why they always tend to start speaking up on these things when they're out of office.
If it did happen. I'm fully involved. I will practically drop my current life and line of work and persue entrepenurialship in the industry one way or another.

Yup. Especially Labour in this case, every time a member is questioned you can see them processing their answers through the party filter.Â
And it was Gordon Brown's Labour who moved it up to Class B. Its ridiculous that they feel they can turn people into criminals for the sake of votes/favour.

What happens to all those big pharmaceutical companies and their expensive drugs when cannabis becomes legal?
What happens to the consolidation GW pharma has on cannabis research and medical product production when cannabis is made legal?

And ag think about the answer to this question in the context of dub's post.
Government is sponsored by and ultimately run for the interests of big business. Regardless of labour / conservative. Labour has a worst track record because they've been in power longer over the last however many years. But I digress.
It's pretty clear why pharmaceutical companies would be against the legalisation of cannabis. And together with their pals over at the media conglomerates are probably the biggest reason for why these laws are still the way they are. Regardless of how stupid and nonsensical they may be.
