I just didnt like his finishing against Koln, it put me off, I think its cos it looked clumsy and wasteful. Yeah he might of been a little overweight too imo. He strikes me as a percentages striker, aims hard and in the right place there's no frills with him in front of goal. I just really like his link up play it's top notch but I would recommend Wenger gets someone like Remy who can run in behind but then again not many teams play a high line against us and if the top teams do then Walcott has proven he gets behind with ease. Wenger must know that Chamakh, Arshavin, Scuqillaci and Djourou have failed us consistently at the highest level. When asked to perform they haven't? I just can't think of any fathomable reason as to why he keeps protecting them? It drives me insane to the point I question his policies and whether he's actually good for us. I know this is an "fm" move but why can't he just use the funds from a sale of a transfer to cut their contracts? Stepvanos, Tavaladris and Upson never got the patience that these players have got? Unless he believes in earning your place in the Saturday, Wednesday squads through your efforts in training then their not moving any time soon. Wouldn't surprise me if Chamakh, Scquillaci, Djourou and Arshavin hold all the fitness records at the Colony. Imagine in 10 years time you walk in the Colony and there's a stat on the wall "Maourane Chamakh was recorded to have run between 14-16 miles per training session on average making him Europe's top athelete" Now we know why he quit after 3 months action. He probably felt he'd done enough & had man tell him your better than Djourou & that slow German guy... Sounds like he just wanted to play & Swansea sold themselves better than Arsenal did. Must be such an anti-climax being in the 18 weekly for a club that plays in a 50k home stadium, to Arsenal XI fixtures to less than 500... SMH - does Wenger even have any idea of where his squad is going? or does he just ignore everything then open up his book on September 1st and find out what he's got to go to war with and comprimises.
