This is why you shouldn't believe everything you read

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reacted angrily to suggestions from Bolton that his bid for their defender Gary Cahill was "derisory".The Gunners' offer - reported to be £6m - was rejected by Wanderers and criticised by their boss Owen Coyle. In addition, Trotters chairman Phil Gartside re-posted a message on Twitter from a Bolton fan angered by the bid."That number is completely wrong," said Wenger. "If Gartside can say I am lying I am ready to confront him."The Frenchman added: "I believe every negotiation is between two parties and you only have to sell the player if you are all right with the price."In this case the information is below what has been spoken about."You can believe Gartside or you can believe me. It's not right. It's not the truth."The truth is that we never speak about our negotiations."If a club doesn't want to sell a player it can keep him. When we sign a player we come out here and tell you and keep the price a secret."They do not need to sell the player, they can keep him. If you ask do I want to buy your house and you are not happy with the price you say no, that's it."Why should you feel insulted? I don't understand. If the player is not for sale they can keep him. I don't understand the problem."If we want to buy the player we buy the player. I do not have to explain for how much."

Wenger - We're looking for one more strikerArsène Wenger says he expects to see Nicklas Bendtner leave Emirates Stadium this summer.

Bendtner is currently sidelined with an ankle injury but Wenger says the Club will be on the hunt for another striker to cover his departure.

The manager is also wary of leaving himself short of options up front with Marouane Chamakh likely to be involved at the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

“We are looking for one more striker because we know he [bendtner] will leave,” Wenger said.

“We will be short this season because we also have Chamakh leaving for the African Cup of Nations.”

On Bendtner’s ankle injury, Wenger insisted that it is not serious enough to hamper his hopes of a transfer.

“He has an ankle problem. It is not a bad injury and not threatening, so he won't be out for two months. But I cannot give you a day that he will be back.”http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/wenger-we-re-looking-for-one-more-strikerand-8232-

"I will try to strengthen the squad in depth because at the moment we are a bit short number-wise but if we get two or three players in we have the quality to challenge," said Wenger."I am anxious yes because I want to do it and I try everything to do it. But I am confident as well because we have some good young players who can make a big step very quickly."But the manager warned that signings were not guaranteed. "There is a chance [we could make no signings] because again we are dependent on the desire of the people who have the players to sell the players," he said.

NOT JOKING LADSI've got a funny feeling in my waters that CAHILL, M'VILLA, HAZARDwill all be joining. When I get these feelings it normally comes off.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done,on earth as it is in heavenGive us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,as we forgive those who trespass against us.And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever. Amen
