Its going to be a rude awakening for Song at Barcelona you mean. Man will be playing for Tolouse in 2 seasons. I'll stick my neck out and say that Song will make a minimum of around 30 appearances for Barca next season if he goes. He'll play games, he is a squad player though. By the second season he will get less game time and then they will realise they dont really want/need him. you're pretty much describing what they did with Yaya Toure, I wonder if he values the experience of playing and winning trophies at Barcelona. Even if that happens to Song, he'll still only be approaching 27 and most likely have some medals to show for it. Yaya Toure was playing for a relegation battling Monaco though.. Song is 1st choice (With no competition) at a CL club. Basically imo he doesnt know how good hes got it. Same goes for guys like Theo. The destination is the most important factor here, in all honesty Barcelona is a step up from almost every club in the world. Natty Posted August 16, 2012 Report Share Posted August 16, 2012 doesn't matter I don't see how a 28-30mil buy out clause is going up to 40 mil especially when they have to sell or they are going to leave him on a free next summer so 28 mil might not even be the selling price, but saying that totty, bayern and arsenal are in for him so they don't exactly have a lack of demand for him.
