Yung bawse Posted February 29, 2012 Report Share Posted February 29, 2012 i use poker stars simply because i found it better than william hill, haven't tried any others but id be willing to. poker stars is decent but the fact that you have to withdraw a minimum of $100 takes the piss.. i won $90 once and wanted to withdraw..said it had to be 100..so im there spending hours trying to get that extra $10 and end up losing it all Could you not just deposite $10 to make it up to $100 and withdraw? yeh i didn't think of that at the time and you can't withdraw money within 48 hours of depositing it so i thought i had a better chance of winning $10 than waiting 2 days trust they got everthing figured out loool Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My old housemate used to come back from casino with like £800 in cash and if he can play poker im adamant I can. Determined to clock this game. i was PISSED last night..was in a tourney with 50 people and the winner got a ticket to a bigger tourny (i dont normally enter these types cuz i cbf to go to another tourny i just want the p's).. anyway i came 2nd because i didnt want to win and got $52 (was only $4 to enter) ..after the tourny i looked at what the ticket was for..it was for a $225 entry tourny where the first place got 600k and even 10th place got 10 grand and there was only 130 people registered (which would prob go up = more money) kinda pissed still. trick to poker is patience, if you haven't got any dont bother playing... i haven't got much but i force myself to be patient which makes me good for a couple hours then after that i get bored n start to lose Trust me. I have zero patience. And I can get headloss very easily at times as well. Some of the hands ive lost....the plainface on show is epic. Whilst im learning Im only playing on sites that give me a free bonus cos I refuse to pay for all the regulars to teef my money. Starting to get the hang of it, but it takes ALOT of time and sometimes I can be in a tournament for 2 hours, go all in with pocket aces or kings and then lose to some shitty cards and its demoralising cos I end up with fack all. Yung bawse Posted February 29, 2012 Report Share Posted February 29, 2012 tbh you can't learn on the 'free money' tables because the game play is WAYYY different to when you're playing for real money. id suggest putting a tenner on poker stars which gives you $16..then do the $1.5 sit n go's which is basically a small tourny..can do 1 table 1s (8 people) or multiple table 1s (16-180 people) will take you a while to get thru 10 sit n goes n if you lost all of them it's only a tenner for a lot of experience. But like 888 poker, if you sign up you get a free bonus no deposit needed. Ive got a pokerstars account, and have deposited a fair but on there in the past but lost it all so i not depositing more until I get better.
