Sorry man i also had a fairly large bet on him if that softens the blow, also i know in hindsight it is easy to say, but Carruthers is a horse that i have always rated and have backed him on many occassion without seeing a return, and even though he made my shortlist today i decided to eliminate him, i am glad to have seen him winthough as he does deserve a race of this status to his name, definitly looks a little Denman in the making as his running style is so similiar, a loss for the day but it is all about the long run.
