^ he's got no other way out of this

against Everton he looked a different player, don't think I've seen a more alert Balo in a long time

during a sequence of events in which he tracked back, won the ball and won the freekick which ended up being the goal, the commo decided to describe it as him probably fouling the Everton player to get the ball and then taking a dive to win the freekick

seems like a rookie error to me

wenger wudnt do it cause he's too soft and mourinho wudnt do it cause he's too smart

poor man management in this case

Morinho disses his players in the media all the time.

The only part you got right is Wenger wouldn't do it because he is too soft.

Brendan Rodgers on Balotelli: “He is working hard to try to fit into the team ethos here but only time will tell… We will see come January"

A manager should not be saying things like this to the media.

He's having a shocker as far as managing Balotelli's media coverage is concerned.

I know that he's probably just setting a public challenge to Balotelli as he has with other players but he should have recognised Ballo's not ordinary as far as column inches in the tabloids go, any and anything will be used to create a sense of hysteria around his name.

On the shirt swapping 'incident' him saying "I'll deal with it" and "It's not something I agree with" was enough for all hell to break loose as if Sakho and Coutinho didn't do the exact same thing against Chelsea last year.

He's going to have to learn very quickly that what he says about Ballo will be interpreted in an entirely different fashion in comparison to how the same words would be interpreted about another player.

Nah like Ice or someone said in some thread

BR first season tried to play possession football which had served him so well at Swansea with Sahin,Downing,Shelvey,Henderson etc

(you get my point)

We finished low in the league and played shit

Then second season he switched it around to a transitions, break between the lines team and we saw the fruits of that labour with our finish last season

Now he has lost Suarez and Sturridge is out for another month

man tried to play like barca scrapped it when he clocked we had a bunch of shit playing for us

then switched it to the dortmund team plate with the signings of Sturridge and Coutinho

Neither barca or dortmund have great defences they just don't do the shit skrtel and lovren do every week

Balo needs to score then pull out a machete and decapatate the opposition goalkeeper and hold his head high to celebrate

Might as well got nothing to lose

I just don't think Rodgers was all that keen on Balotelli,

I.e ok I'll have him if we can't sign anyone else. I won't lose any kudos if I can't get through to him but if I can I'll do my reputation wonders.

If it doesn't go to plan we'll sell him on at a decent enough price, and get Origi in for next season,

Opinion isn't based on anything said or inside information, just that when lining up Ballotelli's strengths weaknesses etc they don't match with qualities Rodgers demands/asks of his players,

Rodgers=Modern day Kevin Keegan

Stop it.

Keegan is nowhere as tactically astute as Rodgers, its a silly comparison.

People forget Rodgers was making Swansea the best ballers in the league, with a Championship budget. He tried the same brand of possession football with us, realizing that a counter attacking system with high pressure would suit us better and took us from 7th to 2nd in the league.

Also forget the way he tactically outwitted nearly every big team in the league last season.

Cruyff has already praised him and Martinez for being the two along with Koeman to follow his philosophy, Keegan talk is way off the mark.

Truss Keegan could actually build a squad just couldn't get them over the line

Rodgers still hasn't built one team yet
