Great passion showed by Gyan there, he was really trying for his people, is moments like this and like Grosso in 06 that make me love International football..U cant really blame Welbeck & Desailly, the countries they played for made them footballers, but I did chuckle when the manc lad came on to that chorus of boos, I wonder what his family made of it..

I find it funny how people are so judgemental about the issue of national identity & the choice of OTHERS.It's a complex subject but people want to come & chat from their high horses.f*ck off & f*ck your mothers, all of you.
Precisely, so why are you against Wellbeck's decision when he considers himself English, was born in Manchester, supports Manchester United, was developed by English resources and played for England at u17 level? He owes Ghana absolutely nothing.

Thing is, I never even said, ''Naaaaaah man, GH blood, he should be playing for Ghana.'' If you can't UNDERSTAND where GH fans are coming from, to go on & label their response 'idiocy' is narrow-minded & somewhat bigoted. f*ck outta here with that sh*t.

good game, ghana didnt have much of the ball in the first half but made up for it with a brilliant atmosphereat times it sounded like an african nations game, cheering at every pass ghana make no matter where they are on the pitch :D gyan's finish was craze! well deserved, he ran his socks off.hope players like Jarvis and co get another look-in, about time England started picking the best team to win instead of stellar individuals
