Messi could of easily got a hat-trick but the Messiah played well.Thanks Pep. Another clever tactical switch when nobody expected it - Pedro on the left and Villa on the right for the final, and Messi playing even deeper than usual, and occasionally drifting to his old RW position. I don't rate Anderson but he has something you were desperately lacking last night - energy. It was way too comfortable for Barca in the middle, you can't allow players of that quality time to think on the ball considering how good they are under pressure so crowding the central areas is essential. Game plan was non existent from Ferguson last night.

Of course when Barca play to their best they're too much but playing a formation and picking personell that plays into their hands only makes it worse.Yesterdays game was a result of Barcelona being exceptional and Ferguson getting it tactically wrong imo.
