I don't really mean that, well I half do, shazam has quite alot apparently. But much respect goes out to a DJ dropping a banger that you can't ID

 

not being rude or disrespectful but the statement you just said is utter bull isssh! so if you can shazam a particular djs set he/she hasn't  put in the work!!! just look at what mixcloud started doing last year with a software that identifies any tracks published, which is good for producers recognition wise. just upload the whole set or snippet on mixcloud and you'll get artist and track names, no more hiding your track lists DJs (certain not all)

 

How is it? 

 

If I listen to a someones mix and all the tunes played are on my itunes regardless of how tight the mixing is, I will never be blown away.

I have alot more respect for someone digging around a recordshop for bsides or delving into the depths of the interwebz for some unknown producers edits. 

 

Not to say they aren't putting the work in but clicking deep house on beat port downloading the top ten doesn't get my respect.

A good tune is a good tune, but finding a good tune that nobody has heard and bringing that to the table is a different thing altogether
