Born and rasied in west norwood..We knew smiley culture. Im related to his son by marriage. I have to say im disgusted at the comments that people have posted. Anyone who knew or met I local legend an hero would know that he loved Life..Suicide is way way out of character. I rember at the age of 4 Smiley came into my fathers record shop in tulse hill, despite his fame and sucess he was well grounded and never acted like he was to important to sign autograph an take time out to talk to the kids....Smiley We will never forget you contribution to reggae music, you where a trend setter and an innovator. a dedicated father and very much family orientated man.
