Kin, a Thai place, near Chancery Lane. Check it out if you're in the area.
Went earlier for a break from work. It's pretty cheap, plenty of taste and almost too big of a portion. Great value for money. Pretty chilled in there too. Albeit, the seats aren't the comfiest.
Found this place randomly about a month ago. It's a 24 hour diner but it's actually good quality food, decent drink selection, great atmosphere, and cosy too. It's f*cking great for what it is. Never rushed out, really chilled. I'd recommend it if you're in the Holborn area (I believe they have one in Chelsea too) and looking for a decent scran.
I work over on Fleet St so when the girl I'm seeing meets me from work we end up going here more often than not now because you know exactly what you're getting, and in peace.
tried this the other week plastered at about 4am
decent spot, perfect hangover prevention food... like you said really chilled out.
Pham Sushi on Whitecross Street is solid Japanese food with decent decor, only downside I can say is that I was heard I g some cheap dance music pumping out of their sound system.
Ive had the Salmon Teriyaki with egg friend rich twice now, best fried rice I've eaten in a while.

Ama's Kitchen Ponders End High Street, biriyani is like it was imported straight out of Pakistan the moment they make it
Once in a blue moon someone like CP will post a soliloquy of epic proportions and lots of faceless people will pos it and make themselves feel good like "Yeah, someone got a jab at him, because I can't do it myself".
This forum is a like a chew toy for my own amusement.

I got a full English and a custom omelette. Did the job. Daytime menu probably has more choice.
