Spot on

This is why the German model>>> everything else.

its a model i think smaller clubs should follow

but the big sides in germany are trying to follow the united/barca model..... this is where the big money is at for major clubs and it makes sense

It only makes sense due to the "financial doping" by some teams. If there were no riddiculous anomalies like City, PSG or to a lesser extent Chelsea, then all clubs could happily live within their means and be competitive, whilst utilising their commercial brains to make additional funds,

It's like when Ben Johnson said he took drugs coz everyone else was doing it,

Bayern are a succesful club, competitive in Europe, have active fan input, big modern atmospheric stadium, cheaper than average ticket prices, no uber rich owner, yet they can still afford to spend 40 odd million on Martinez without putting themselves in the red or having the commercial pull of Barca Real or Manchester United,

Could only imagine what they'd achieve if the take on a "manageable" debt, to buy players, and start utilising their full commercial potential.

If Dortmund build on what they have they could go far too,

The only reason United pulled ahead so far money wise in this country was because the people in charge were ahead of the crowd in terms of commercial opportunity,
