Love football, absolutely love it. But I actually get more enjoyment out of watching Chelsea games at the moment (that we don't feature in), than I do watching the club I've loved for 24 years. I really don't think I defend defeats. United are sh*t, van Persie makes them play with 10. Blackett and Shaw where shocking. The Ashley Young change, changed the game, De Gea was MOTM but most of the shots where straight at him... Can't even blame Mike Dean, as thats probably the best I've seen him ref us in a long time... Ramsey defo had a purple patch. Monreal is AWFUL. Everytime we (defensive) or the opposition makes a tactical (attacking) sub, we gonna need to start faking injury for 5 minutes straight after just so we can sort ourselves out. I was at the game yesterday, everyone(fans) seems to trust him in goal. I certainly didn't feel uncomfortable watching him making decisions, and he seemed sure in himself. Per tried to ruin it with one of the backpasses. His kicking from the ground is a bit short, but that will improve. Not getting excited obviously - he's still an Arsenal keeper of course and the negatives will surely come but it was just nice not to feel tense watching a keeper attempting to claim a cross etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hasnt been properly tested yet and the recent clean sheets have certainly been attributed by our solid defense and the return of kos the boss. But yeh I did actually say I'm not getting excited. I'm just looking forward to see how he copes - if he plays(looks like he might not) - with the test against Stoke, good or bad, it'll be interesting, hopefully not painful to watch. My comment wasn't because he's 'kept three clean sheets' cos I didn't watch two of those games, it was just off the back of seeing him live and not feeling that same concern when we've had any other keeper in goal recently. Didn't realise he was two years younger than Woichech actually thought he was in his late teens. Oh and Mannone never looked convincing imo, even during his 'good' spell.
