TOTTENHAM are ready to splash ã23million on Darren Bent and Portuguese superkid Nani.And the signings will form part of a huge ã60m summer spending spree.Boss Martin Jol, armed with the club's biggest-ever transfer kitty, hopes Charlton striker Bent will form a dream partnership with Dimitar Berbatov next season.Relegated Charlton want ã20m for their England frontman but Jol is ready to test their resolve with a ã10m offer.INTERESTThe Dutchman plans a ã13m move as well this week for Sporting Lisbon's left-sided, attacking midfielder Nani.Nani, 20, labelled the new Cristiano Ronaldo, has attracted interest from around Europe ââ¬â including Manchester United.Having landed ã5.5m full-back Gareth Bale from Southampton, Jol is confident Bent and Nani will be next.Jol is also keeping tabs on Middlesbrough's Stewart Downing and West Ham's Nigel Reo-Coker, who handed in a transfer request yesterday.Meanwhile Berbatov will be offered a new ã50,000-a-week deal to keep him at Spurs and to try to fend off interest from Manchester United.A Spurs insider revealed: "Berbatov will be offered a massive new deal in excess of ã50,000 a week and the club is also ready to embark on a huge spending spree."
